Night to Shine Volunteers

 

INFORMATION FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS

If you haven’t signed up, we still have a place for you - there is plenty to do! How you can help before the big day:

  • PRAY: Ask for God’s hand to be all over this event! For each of our special guests to know they are loved and to have a memorable prom night! That health will not impede attendance. For weather to stay calm and safe for everyone’s travels. That God will bring us wonderful volunteers and things to run smoothly!

  • DONATE: Keep your eye out for our list of needs and our Amazon Wish List.

  • SETUP/DECORATE: We’ll be setting up all day on Thursday, starting at 9:00am. Come help out!

    Set up and tear down volunteers do not need to attend training unless you are also volunteering for the event.

Event Details - Friday, February 7th

TIME: Arrive to the church at 4:30PM, unless otherwise directed by your Team Lead.

PARKING: Park in our South Parking Lot. There will be people here to direct you.

CHECK-IN: Please enter the South Doors and proceed to your designated Check-In location. (As directed by your Team Lead or refer to our Volunteer Roles PDF below).

DRESS: Volunteers should wear black pants/jeans and an RSCC NTS volunteer shirt if you have one. Exceptions to this are as follows:

  • Prom Buddies - modest formal attire.

  • Paparazzi - nice dress, black pants or slacks and nice blouse or button-down shirt.

  • Registration Team - nice dress, black pants or slacks and nice blouse and button-down shirt.


NOTE: You can leave your coat and belongings in the designated spot in our upstairs loft.
