Homepointe Campaign 2022
A testimony can be intimidating - You may think you have to have some crazy event happen in your life to make it worth hearing. But when we approach it like this, we miss the point.
A testimony is to highlight one thing: How has the LORD been with me?
We want to give you and your family resources to figure out what that means for you.
We also want to challenge you in each of the areas below to inspire you to become confident and even comfortable speaking about how Jesus has been with you. Let's get started, shall we?
On Your Own
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
In Your Home
Deuteronomy 6:5-9 "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
In The Church
Psalm 22:22 “I will tell my people what you have done; I will praise you in their assembly.”
In The Wilderness
Matthew 10:32 “So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my father who is in heaven”

Testimony: Start Talking!
Weekly drawings will be held through the month of December.
So how do I enter the drawing?
If you invited someone to church - look in the weekly bulletin for a drawing entry. Write your name and how many people you invited (even if they didn’t come), rip along the dotted line, and turn the slip into Homepointe.
The prizes will vary each week... and admit it - you want a prize.
What is that big banner doing
in the foyer?
I'm glad you asked...
The banner is simply a visual. We are encouraging everyone in the congregation to put a sticker on the banner every time you talk about God and how He has been with you. The different color stickers represent your audience - who did you talk to?
The banner wants to be covered in stickers - so don't be shy!
Time to Invite!
We wanted to give you resources to invite people to all the events going on at Rising Sun!
Inviting people is a simple step to start talking with someone about God. It primes the conversation for sharing your Testimony. And, who knows - maybe they will be blessed by church or whichever event you invite them to! The links to event flyers and invites are below.
Winter Flyer (overview of events). Check out our Event page here.
Also, check out the board across from the information desk in the foyer - it’s got invites to hand out!
